Piston technology has been Metatron's winning feature from the very beginning in an extremely competitive market (the OEM market) that demands reliability, durability and quality. The high quality standards of our regulators are guaranteed by:
- Design and validation based on specifications developed by the OEMs.
- Durability and reliability tests defined by the combination of international standards, stringent OEM requirements and extensive experience in harsh environments.
- A production process organised according to the requirements of the IATF 16949 standard, implemented from the acceptance of goods, throughout the assembly steps, to the end-of-line testing, done on 100% of products.
- All products are EC-79 approved.

ECUs
As with pressure regulators, Metatron has strategically chosen to expand its expertise and responsibility as a hardware manufacturer to the design, development, validation and production of hardware and software for natural gas-powered engine control systems.
In 2010 Metatron Electronics and Application Engineering was founded in Turin with the precise aim of exploiting the expertise and experience acquired in the most important working groups and research centres engaged in the natural gas sector, capitalising on the specific requests of the main European and Asian OEMs. Dedication to this goal has led to the development first of an injector control unit dedicated to non-native dual fuel automotive applications and finally to an engine control unit for heavy duty on- and off-road applications.
