SDU stands for Smart Drive Unit and is a slave control unit for the control of Peak&Hold injectors in dual-fuel engines: petrol LPG (or methane).
Complies with EOBD standards. Closed-loop control of Peak&Hold injectors with full injector diagnosis capability. Advanced anti-sticking strategies for injectors combined with strategies for their heating. The injector current profile can be calibrated or modified in RunTime use. The maximum current delivered for each channel is 10 Amps. The interface with the engine control unit is done through CAN communications. Certified according to ECE R67, ECE R110 and ECE R10.
